Entering my first 3-D exhibition…ever! 5/30/2018
I started sculpting the figure about two and a half years ago, after decades of being a painter and drawer. Brush, canvas, paper, charcoal – it was all familiar territory. But somehow it wasn’t enough, so I jumped to clay.
After many hours, classes and workshops of learning what I could do with the figure in clay, I felt comfortable with the results…good enough to enter a 3-D only juried show. I entered a painted relief and a large painted, clay figure, and was hoping at least one of them would make the cut.
On May 30, 2018, I received the email results of the juror’s selections….
