The Second Atlanta Artists Association Art & Music Bash will be held at Kavarna, Decatur, Georgia on Friday, Dec 11, 2009 at 7pm. New art will be exhibited by Karen Adams, Michael McGill, and Rob Hoover. Live music by Atlanta band, The Head will begin at 8pm. The artwork will be on exhibit through Jan 11, 2010.
Karen Adams is a longtime artist previewing three new paintings from her Everyday Heroes Series. Her husband, Michael McGill, is showing new work inspired by Atlanta nightlife. (Michael created the show poster). Rob Hoover, former Atlantan who makes his home in Charlotte, is presenting new paintings of rock and roll legends.
The Head are guitarist Jacob Morell and lead-vocal-sharing twin-brother rhythm section Jack and Mike Shaw. This trio writes their own music, have rich vocals harmonies, and are guaranteed to rock Kavarna!
Kavarna is located in the heart of historic Oakhurst, at 707B East Lake Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30030; serving up coffee, food, beer/wine, art and music.
