Art of the Golden Generation: Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art, Jan 14- Mar 25, 2012

The 8th biennial juried exhibition, Art of the Golden Generation, is presented by The College of Continuing and Professional Education at Kennesaw State University. The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is pleased to once again be the venue for this exhibition in fulfillment of our mission to “build community through art.”

The Juror for this year’s Art of the Golden Generation was Jessica Pepe who received her BA in Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art and her MA in Museum Studies from New York University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She currently works at The Pace Gallery in Manhattan. This year’s exhibition includes 45 pieces selected from 143 entries.

Preview reception will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 6-8pm. Karen has two oil paintings from her series ‘Everyday Heroes’ in this exhibition.
