European Series
This series originated during the summer of 1982 during my studies in Cortona, Italy with the University of Georgia, and continues through the present. To paint plein air in Italy, and later France, was and is one of my most exciting experiences as an artist. I am equally delighted spending hours in the Louvre and in le Jardin des Tuileries, drawing the classic sculptures of France, Italy, and Greece.
